In 2001 on the basis of the Latvian State Research Institute of car building (from 1961 to 1991 Riga branch of the All-Union Scientific Research Institute of car building) was established LLC Baltic Testing Centre (LLC “BTC”), registration certificate No. 40003555452.
LLC “BTC” works in the field of inspection and testing of railway production. The structure of LLC “BTC” includes the following subdivisions:
LLC “BTC” staff has large experience in testing of railway rolling stock power constructions.
Along with a large range of tests LLC “BTC” is realize inspection of technical condition of freight cars, EMU and DMU train cars and locomotives in order to determine extension of its normative life.
